JF Heating Plumbing was stared back in 1989 by John Flynn after finishing a 5 year apprenticeship with a local tradesmen who himself had over 25 years experience in the plumbing and heating trade. The business currently consists of 2, and sometimes 3. fully qualified tradesmen.

Grant Vortex Pro Kitchen/Utility boilers have been designed to enable unique programmer options to be used with the unit. A plug-in programmer (EP Kit) can be fitted within the boiler control panel, or alternatively the receiver for Grant’s new wireless RFT Kit can be located within the knockout on the fascia and the programmer mounted conveniently inside the home.

Boiler efficiency testing
Operating your boiler with an optimum amount of excess air will minimize heat loss up the stack and improve combustion efficiency. Combustion efficiency is a measure of how effectively the heat content of a fuel is transferred into usable heat. The stack temperature and flue gas oxygen (or carbon dioxide) concentrations are primary indicators of combustion efficiency.
Central heating systems
A traditional open-vented system with gravity fed domestic hot water heating (DHW) and central heating that is pumped around the system. In this design, the system is fed with water and kept under pressure via gravity-fed water from the main header tank in the loft. The hot water cylinder is heated simply via a gravity hot water circuit from the boiler, and central heating is provided via a separate pumped circuit from the boiler. A separate header/expansion tank is used to feed the DHW to prevent the risk of contamination with the primary circuit water.
Plumbing systems Under floor heating
Under floor heating is invisible and maintenance free, with no space consuming radiators.
Under floor Heating requires low water temperature and is ideal for using with energy saving condensing boilers. With under floor heating, comfort levels are high and energy costs are low.
Under floor heating has made it possible to reduce energy consumption by using low water temperature and maintaining a constant level of comfort. These systems, based on the development of complex and very high quality plastic pipe, such as the multilayer pipe, now account for 60% of some European heating market.
